I'm thinking about getting KORE this week. If I do as a Komplete 2 owner I would qualify for the upgrade to Komplete 3 which is a really great deal as it includes Guitar Rig 2 that I had an eye on anyway. Although it comes without the hardware component I believe the KORE hardware and Guitar Rig hardware are built around the same audio card so apart from the obvious pedal and switches are there any significant differences between the KORE hardware and Guitar Rig in terms of basic audio capabilities, ins and outs etc? My guess is *very little* if anything so in getting KORE I'm getting more or less the same audio capabilities but with different knobs on but I'd like to know for sure.

Not that I'm aware of. Sascha Franck would be the man to ask here- I know he's got both RK2 and KORE (I still have RK1 myself).
