This is pretty nifty AAMS. I have only tried the demo though, so never been able to post anything i've tried it on.

AAMS is pretty cool. You can get some decent improvements out of it, a la Har-Bal.

As for the C/P for EA plugs, I'd say in this case, an argument could be made for using cracked version...I mean, it just wouldn't matter, and as if you're going to pay this new guy twice as much for a stupid name and a brushed metal skin - and a dongle!!

To compare this to the logic audio disaster is really not appropriated.

Use your perfectly well working plug-ins and go on with your lives and make some music.

The EAS (original skin) is aesthetically pleasing to work with - the whole gui has been thought out 'fully' - I have to say I don't like the 'look' of the 'new skin' one bit - its lighter with a very distracting logo (like the log is taking major space in the gui - its not the most important part of an effect plug)

I also think it's a tad too expensive now.

Lucky for me I have the original - Do the original customers still get updates and fixes for when hosts and OS changes are made?

From EAS website:

"Elemental Audio will continue to provide technical support to existing customers for the forseeable future and will produce one more product update for current customers. Customers will receive full details by e-mail in the coming days."

How far away is "foreseeable future" is anybody's guess.

If they support the existing user base = cool___ (as long as they don't re-badge it with the new skin and require drastic alterations in the form of hardware dongles to be fitted before an update can be applied)

Have to wait and see how it goes I guess.

I had a browse through their plugins.

The automatic mix plugin is def interesting but no more.

Surely u'd spend as much time repairing what you didnt like as u would to get to that stage anyway.

I really dont understand what hes trying to achieve with it or who its aimed at.

Its a shame. Elemental had some great, well designed plugs.
