How about being able to enter a retuning mode and being able to select (or play on a MIDI controller instrument) the required note for that slice sample?
You could either have it on a 'per slice' so each slice gets their own note OR what would also be cool is using incoming MIDI notes to 'filter' and 'retune' any outgoing note on the fly?
Naturally there are other more important FRs (like rex2 support!!) but maybe something for later?

interesting idea - you can already map midi keys to control the pitch of a track - I just have to change the way that mapping works. How about any note above C4 pitches up, and any note below pitches down? Values could be absolute or relative to the pitch selected with the mouse.
