Net musicians are a seperate breed from other kinds of musicians, and often have vastly different opinions and skillsets.
Now these plugins will be in full page ads and reviews, and theyll win awards.
and dont think this is the last time this will happen.

What a lame ass.
There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.

The only engineer I listen to is Bob Katz from Digital Domain!Tony Ostinato wrote:Roger Nichols is the britney of the audio engineering crowd, simply put his picture on a magazine like EM or Recording or Mix and its sales go way up.
Hes a guy other pro engineers listen to and wanna be like and so now theyll follow suit with the plugins.
I have a feeling, that the K-Meters will soon vanish at RogerNichols place if he really is "the britney spears" among audio engineers. Cause usually they give a frack about standards, but push the material to it's limits.
WELCOME BACK TO THE STONE-AGES!
(also in terms of price, this certainly isn't worth a dime - really a pitty - and I wanted to stock up on a mastering EQ, guess it's PSP then, but they use iLok too for their HR versions)

hahahaahahahahhahahahh OHY man all this says is this dude seriously has NO IDEA what he is doing!!!!NONE, he may be a good producer/engineer, but he is completely out of his league regarding owning and selling plugs. HIs presentation is f**king lame and the names, well, there is no need to beat a dead horse. What a f**king pussy,, although the price is lower, iguess cant complain about that..

His recent article in SOS mag about how 24 bit affects bass prooves that he does NOT know his stuff. His very latest article in SOS shows he is too lazy to check his facts. (Someone asks about 64 bit audio in Cakewalk and he goes of on a tangent about 64 bit OSes. Admitedly Cakewalk Sonar supports both but a quick visit to Cakewalk's site would have been enough to show him that the question about 64 bit audio was legitimate and wasn't about 64 bit OSes and processors). Also in his latest article, someone asks about digital summing vs analogue summing and he again goes on a tangent about mixing in the digital domain and clipping digital busses etc yet he doesn't go into the details of the actual summing methods and how they can affect sound.Cordelia wrote: He does know his stuff,

Dropped by a $100 each, guess that's a start.
Reckon the open displays of anger & disgust at the ridiculous new pricing structure had some impact.
Still a hefty price rise (almost double?), but better.
Amusing that his forum has dissapeared.
