I would like automation curves to be drawn into the playlist instead of the lower window. Minor, but irritating.
..what goes around comes around..

Minor, but irritating.
you mean arke?
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

(1) Select the note(s) you want to change
(2) Select the color you want to change them to
(3) Alt+C (or PR->Edit->Change Color)

Done :)

and that would also be cool

as well as saveable .fst [Generator/vst]->[Mixer chan] chains damnit!
And midi ports for native plugins!
And a multi-out slicer, so I didn't have to make one!
and, most importantly, for Gol and Jmc to argue more on looptalk!!

and.. and.. people to stop whining about skinning, for fcks sake, get over it already!

thanx arke...I'm not sure how I missed that ...happy belated :D

It would be cool to have a choice between a modular workspace and a all-in-one, so to speak. Like Live, Acid and Tacktion.

imo FLS is the most modular "non-modular" host out there, which is precisely why I love it so..
Short of totally restructuring the entire workflow (which will never happen) I can't see how it could get any more modular.

Yes it could, if it had better tools for drawing perfect curves, but you don't really need to use this feature anymore now that we have automation envelopes :)

to an extent, yes... but your way of doing things may not be good enough for others, consider :)
Yea but considering how spoiled we are (compared to computer music ten years ago) I am very thankful for FL Studio today. Even if I was still using FL Studio 4.5 I'd still be happy :)

Exactly! I can imagine wanting more signal flow then what the mixer already has, unless I had a realy weak cpu and had to chain effects delicately

See this link, where it says Multi Track Recording.
It shows Midi, Audio even video. all on the same page at one time for your editing pleasure. FL6 only lets me open one thing at a time for editing.. Unless I'm missing something and I hope I am.. I'm a FL6 newb and open to being wrong.

It would be nice to just paint midi tracks in too.

4. Record without using ASIO. I have an Echo MiaMIDI, the WDM or so drivers work much better than the ASIO one
would ASIO4ALL work for you?
Of course I have A4All on my comp when I was using my SB Audigy 2 ZS for music production, but i get 2 MS latency with the WDM drivers on my MiaMIDI. That's many times better than what you could get with ASIO.

I'm not saying to ditch ASIO all together (Just allow non-ASIO audio recording), but like, in Adobe Audition, I don't need to set it to my ASIO driver to be able to record.
