ManyGuitar download size

Hello,
a few days ago I entered the Manytone group buy to get ManyGuitar. As I don't have a high-speed internet connection, I'm planning to go to an Internet café, download it to my usb-stick and bring it to my own computer. As the samples are around 1.3 Gb, I wonder if I should buy a new usb-stick before. Could you please tell me the size of the (compressed) download?
Thanks, Volker
EDIT: As this question is probably not of general interest, I should rather have written an Email... sorry, but I think, I cannot delete it ?!

I don't know about ManyGuitar, but ManyStation which is a bit larger than Manyguitar is 855mb as a download.

Hello, thanks very much for your answers. So I don't have to spend money on a new usb-stick. Maybe I'll by ManyStation instead.
Greetings, Volker

Well, for downloads up to 1 Gbyte I am ready ... just feared that ManyGuitar could be bigger than that... so ManyStation has got a chance as well, once I've seen how good ManyGuitar is
(which I have ordered 3 minutes ago). Thanks again, Volker

Hi
You can actually save a bit of Download time by Buying and Installing ManyStation first. We then have a Crossgrade Download for ManyGuitar that is only about half the size.
So this may be something for you to think about.
But if you don't mind the bigger download then just download and Install ManyGuitar first.
Thanks
Paul

OK I downloaded ManyStation data and UBK last night and burned it all to CD. I then deleted the folder containing all of my ManyTone files since my storage drive was under 20% free spae and would no longer defragnment completely. I then discovered that there was a corrupt file on the newly burned CD. So I am downlowning everything once again. i hope to have ManyStation and UBK running later today. What I am wondering is if it's kosher to dl a second time.
Thank,
Gordon

The server could cut you off due to security.
All you had to do was look at the page i gave a link to in the ManyStation mail to check the files sizes. They are posted in that thread. You probably only need to download the ones that are out and not all the files again. Have a look please.
If the server cuts you off you need to email me with your Page addy, but generally for security and Bandwidth issues, we only allow you a reset once and then you Have to be sure to have it backed up in case you need it again.
These are some Large files and we have to manage this fairly.
It is the only copy protection we use. A Download limit so Users cannot share their Personal Page.

OK I downloaded everything here at work UBK downloaded perfectly and once I had the presets in place Manystation and WS3 read them fine... Wow! these basses sound excellent Paul!
I then attempted to install the ManyStation data. I could not complete the install since they were mostly corrupt. It appears that the firewall here at work or the server is causing the files to be split. I am not sure what can I do now. It seems I will need to download it again. I will try it at home again but sinc the DVD I burned from them was also full of corrupt files I am at a loss. Any ideas?
Best regards,
Gordon

Hi Gordon
As i said above
Check the file sizes on the DVD you have and if any are good then save them and only download the ones that are corrupt. If they are all corrupt then Re-Download them all .... If it cuts you off during this you will have to email me.
It is important that you Download ONE FILE at a time and use no Download Managers.
COMPARE the file sizes to the page i gave you before you try to install.
You always seem to have bad luck runs like this Gordon .... Hope it gets better from here for you!

I did check that since the read first document indicated that - I know this from my experience downloading WS data. they are all exactly the right size. I don't use a download manager either here or at home. I do dl one at a time. Here at work there is an sever and a firewall. I think I will have to order a DVD from you.
I see I have a proble since I have already installed the VSTi. Should I uninstall it before attempting to install the data.

I thought you read your instructions?
Vsti HAS To be installed last.
Gordon!!!!!! You are going to make me work now!

If you say all the files are right then i don't quite get your problem. Look a little closer at things and make sure you have ALL the files, but you may have messed up installing the VSTi first when it clearly says not to do so.
Uninstall it and make sure everything is gone, then try again.
Please follow the install guide.
If your files are still corrupt ...download again.

Sorry Paul! The files are the correct size but the data installer I burned onto the DVD did not function. I dl'ed the data installer and tried to install from the DVD data again - that is when I first saw the corrupt file error. I wanted to check out the UBK bass sound so I installed Manystation VSTi so I could play them - I did not know that WS alone could play UBK
. I then recalled that the instructions said "install the data first" OK so I will uninstall everything including UBK
