Looking for a certain kind of effect.

I'm looking for an effect that will take the incoming audio and oscillate it using a custom waveform (i.e. a wav file imported). Does such an effect exist?

... Ring Modulator also fits.
What would you imagine this "oscillate" function exactly does?

Correct, I'd like to say, import a wave of a guitar pluck and use that as an oscillator to warp an incoming signal.

I just noticed the little "^" under people's names that returns one to the top of a post.
Oh, yeah, I have some suggestions:
I would like what you are describing, too.
Here are some things that are vaguely in that area but I don't think anything
exactly like that exists except I know for sure that TheModulator has
a sample-import oscillator, with freq or note selection, and on the right hand side
of the gui is a choice of FM, RM or one other.

Tried Modulator, it only lets me play a wave file at the beginning of input.
