I often use the manual sync mode to start arrangements whenever I wish. But manual sync could still be in sync with the host. It would be cool if one could trigger the arrangements at every 1,1/2,1/4,1/8 and 16th bar +triplets or offset.

I just made a midi plugin in reaktor that can do this when I put it before LS and I really like what it does. I can start arrangements at odd times like 3/8 or 5/8 which makes interesting rhythms on top of other beats.

It would be best if one could set the sync rate from the main gui.

BTW The record function is really fun to work with, great that it works now.

Feature Change: The space bar is used to start and stop the sequencer in Live. So I often accidentally randomise the events in LS since space bar is a shortcut to do this in LS. It would be nice if it could be changed.

Looking forward to see the zoom track feature :D

can you specify what you mean?

right now manual sync does play the loop in sync with the host, the only difference is that it starts on 1 on every note-on instead of the position where the host is at.

Yes you're right. LS does play in sync with the host tempo. But I mean trigger the arrangement so that it starts in sync like at every 1/2 note etc. At the moment you can start LS at any time, theres no grid. So sometimes this doesn't sound so good when you start the arrangment a little too early or late. It's like triggering an audio clip in Ableton Live -you can apply a quantization grid.

So maybe what I mean is really quantization!

I am fine now with my plugin but I really like what it does and I think others will too, so I think it should be implemented, IMHO.
