First of all I'd like to say thanks for still going on developing that sampler. And now the first format converter supports that format...great!

But I have some probs with the v.1.11 update...perhaps someone can confirm that or help me out:
The loading of aiffs does not work anymore...also some wavs can't get loaded anymore. So I went back to v.1.1 and everything works again.

Could someone experience that, too?

Windows or Mac? I've just tested some AIFF files here in the Windows version, and they work exactly as they should.

If you have time, could you mail us an example of a file that loads in 1.1 but not in 1.11. There have been a number of changes to the sample manager code in DS404 so I'd be interested to see.

Thanx for your quick response...I'll send you one of that naughty aiffs. I have switched now several times between v.1.1 and 1.11...it is quite clear the new version. I am on also PC by the way....(WinXP, Cubase)

I just tested it on Mac anyway, works perfectly there too. I'll take a look at the files when they get here for you though.

Sorry for the inconvenience folks, a gremlin managed to creep into the update and I've had to replace the updaters on the site with new ones. If you've downloaded v1.11 already you'll have to go download it again, re-install v1.1 from your CM CD and re-patch. Very, very sorry.

The one I just downloaded is named DS40411.exe. Is this correct? (The zip is named DS404111.)

As the readme clearly indicates, the updater patches are named to match the version of DS404 that you have installed. Thus, if the file is called DS40411.exe in a file called DS404111.zip it will update v1.1 to v1.11.
