I am not sure what SF2 is. I know it's some kind of soundfont or sound font player. Can someone point me in the right direction? I've heard lots of good things about it and I'm very interested, problem is I can't seem to figure out how to use it/them.

SF2 is the file extension for soundsfonts.

The problem is, they sound like they're awesome yet I don't know how to incorporate them into my music.

load sfz + sfz buddy (optional) or font! (less accurate but easier)

Haha, sorry to be such a noob sometimes. These are cool, just as I suspected. Now all I need is an excellant source for Soundfonts.

I think its just a way of hosting samples in a preset, that is what a soundfont basicaly is. Yes, it does include other information for your sampler or soundfont player.

Use sfz as an instrument just like any other synth. I don't know about sfz buddy in FL.

I don't think you would need sfz buddy. It is just an ADSR for sfz. FL has as ADSR built in doesn't it?
