Yes, v2.04 also uses a new way to set programs that got rid of the annoying cpu spikes everybody was complaining about. But it looks like Minihost doesn't like it :(
the patches load ...
eventually ...
just wait a moment ... or two ...

allright... I didn't expect 2.04 to be a public beta :( seems there'll have to be a 2.05 out soon ;)

.... ok, i can look at the new features with the .exe. Maybe you can make it work for cubase?

Hi,

I was wondering whether there was a way to use Rhino in stand-alone mode without having the Rhino 2 Factory Bank load up every time Rhino is started? I usually like to have it load up on the last bank I was playing (as in Rhino 2.03).

Thanks,
Ian Scott

cant narrow it down at the moment tick ... but there are preset selection issues with 2-04 in tracktion2 too ... the annoying buzz HAS gone but im getting inconsistent response to changing preset using rhinos browser ... it wasnt doing anything at all then suddenly it was working fine again ...

hehe, found it!!! Load present, press all Keys between C1 - D#2 and the present is loaded.

is needed for every present change, but works...

Only the first 16 Keys from C1 - D#2 in minihost, ore your keyboard!
.. no joke!!!

Works in Minihost, Cubase, same thing ...

I'm having this problem in Sonar too.

try it in KORE, and Sonar! C1 - D#2 Key's press and Present are completed load ... it's work faster, when you hit some More, but you need Hit all Key's between C1 and D#2 Black's too ..

Yeah, you're right- at least with KORE. I haven't tried the workaround in Sonar yet.

Thanks :D

Thanks for the update, Tick. :)

The stuttering program changes are gone. Seems to work well in Acid now. :tu:

I've noticed a small UI problem with the filter-waveshaping-morph slider. The background and label are missing in the bitmap.
The preset "Random modular" in "Analog II Monosynth" doesn't work in 2.04. After pressing a key for a few seconds the sound disappears and the cpu usage goes to 100%.

should I be expecting an e-mail notification or is it just by luck I look over to the Tick forum now and again?

There'll be an email, of course - but since there seem to be remaining bugs, I'd rather fix them first :)

SVP :hihi:

Isn't it cool to see a major prog take a step forward? The new features sound very compelling...

...I shall wait patiently....
