Hi,
Just tried out Rhino last night and see what I could come up with.
I'm currently doing an "Insane Percussion" Project and wanted to use more of the marimba and bell patches.
Acutally all instruments are Rhino except for the basic House Kit and some bangs and crashes :^)
This was a quickie - I did this in one night so the mix is not done and I'l probably change some parts as well . . . . but It was sure fun.
Here is the MP3 - it's about 2.56 MB

What a great synth and hope to be using this in more of my projects.

It seem's to download when I try . . . . but maybe it's my website setting's allowing me to download but no one else.
Let me know . . . . . . . I tried to reload the song on my site.
Thanks,
Larry

Just tried out Rainbow tonight . . . . . These are both very good synths and only the imagination is the limit.
Another wierd percussion groove all with Rainbow.

Hey Larry,
your Rhino piece isn't actually my taste, BUT: You used very cool eighties style synth sounds. Very good.
The rainbow quicky is much more to my taste! Yeah I love that stuff. Very good sounds, too.

Thanks Guy's,
I don't really write much house type music . . . that might of been only my third try.
I'm into weird and fusion myself. But I think trying different types of music seems to inspire no avenues in writing . . . . . also new challenges.
I don't know what it was but I thought to myself. . . . . . Rhino has alot of ambience style textures ( Like Absynth ) and some people tend to shy away from using a synth like this for a regular type of song ( they look for the usual piano , bass and other patches. So I thought I would try to write a Dance/House ( in my own weird style - and something I normally don't write ) with patches already available - with just a little tweek :^)
Thanks again,
Larry

I liked the Rainbow Try. You should develop that into a full-length tune. Maybe you could throw a Rhino track or two on top of it...
-David, and some licks on the Ticky Clav, too, maybe.

I like the Rainbow piece too.
The Rhino is very well written, pity you missed the Back to the Future contest, but cheezy 80's is not my thing.
Cheers

Thanks for the nice comments everyone !
Maybe I'll mess around with the rainbow sounds I have and see what I can come up with.
It's funny . . . I own quite a few of the top synth's out there but I always come back to Rhino to get the sounds I want.
I can always get a Atmosphere sound followed by a great and weird lead sound . . . . that doesn't sound like all the other synths that are out there. It seems alot of the synths out there have simmilar sound patches with there own little flavor . . . where as Rhino went a different direction . . . Unique sounds with the ability to get the simillar ones if you want.
How about the new DX patches ! ! . . . . I can't believe the quality!
I can see in the future eventually more will try to imitate the Rhino Sound.
I can't wait for the next 64 patches !
I'll soon try to release a bunch of my own as well.
Take care,
Larry
