Hi Fellas; Is 2.04 safe to upgrade to now ? scanned through this topic but not sure if I should upgrade yet....
Grateful thanks for any help, I just don't want to read every line of this thread, not sure from what I read if 2.04 is good to go ?

Hmm, I can't find anything to complain about in the new build.

Thanks!
A bug? Changing the filter mode does not work ( I tried to change several types from the pulldown-menue, the display did not change filter type.
But from that, no probs so far

FL Studio 6.08
Seems to be some prob with the fonts (sometimes they show up with partly destroyed asccii)

I checked that in Chainer and TinyVst(the one in the Rhino2 directory), both reflect my filter type change, plus I confirmed the sound changed, just loaded the neat comb filter, seems to be fine herethomekk wrote:Thanks!![]()

thomekk: allright... try to use the receptor version of Rhino then (grab it from the private files area). It should fix the fonts issues in FLStudio too (but you won't be able to use skins with custom fonts - not a big deal, really).

...except that the preset "Random modular" in "Analog II Monosynth" messes something up in 2.04. Try pressing a key for a few seconds.Bojo Software wrote:Hmm, I can't find anything to complain about in the new build.![]()

I was pretty sure I was able to load multiple instances of Rhino 2.03 in Chainer, assigning different midi IN channels to each instance, then to play at least four to five channels of Rhino, but after I updated to 2.04 I get silence from all but the channel 1 instance... Can someone confirm in fact if I can load multiple instances of Rhino in Chainer or any other host/chainer in that fashion ??
I was almost sure I just had it set that way and it worked before I upgraded

Just discovered the same thing. Only the first loaded instance outputs sound. I've loaded lots of instances in 2.03 without problems.AzureCrystal wrote:I was pretty sure I was able to load multiple instances of Rhino 2.03 in Chainer, assigning different midi IN channels to each instance, then to play at least four to five channels of Rhino, but after I updated to 2.04 I get silence from all but the channel 1 instance..

Thanks Bo, just making sure it wasn't only on my end...Bojo Software wrote:Just discovered the same thing. Only the first loaded instance outputs sound. I've loaded lots of instances in 2.03 without problems.

Just went in Cubase and did the same, only first instance plays, I'm positive I was able to load multiple instances of 2.03...
Thanks in advance for any help, How do I revert back to 2.03 ?

I uninstalled 2.04 and reverted back to 2.03, I can now play multiple instances of Rhino again.
I will say it again, I'm not ashamed of admitting that to my ears, this is the most incredible and musical VFM out there bar none, Big Tick is a super magician and I am sure he will iron out the little wrinkles on this release, in the meantime I am having a ball and will post something soon, back to business....
BTW, I am more than happy to beta test if needed, I'l use any excuse to play with Rhino !
