First, forgive my stupidity, but I know nothing about Ableton...I don't even really understand the interface when I look at it....
But...while I'm waiting for NI to sort out the INSANE bugs with my newly purchased Kore, I've heard that it's possible to use Ableton Live as a live plugin host. If so, is there a way to change "presets" quickly live? Like Kore is SUPPOSED to do? Meaning, being able to switch from Ivory, to B4, to a split of Absynth & Albino, quickly (no loading) ?
Thanks for any and all info!
PS - No, and I'm not bitter about Kore........HA!
Ableton Live....Live?????

yes there is a way to do so.
you just create three different midi channels and put the different synths on each one.
then you just select the channel you want to play, et voila...
this works like in every other sequencer i guess.
i'm not sure how the split the channels though, but i know it is possible.
i hope i could help you a bit.

if you drag a midi clip into the browser on the left, the vst and all vstis of that channel are stored in that clip, pretty neat way to organize stuff...
