With the latest version 1.15, Directwave now can import correctly kits that contain aif/aiff samples, but it is still not possible to load a simple aif/aiff file with "File/Add Sample(s)" or from the file browser. Why?

Not yet possible, it was already on TODO list but not prioritary as under Windows is not a very common format, meanwhile why dont just convert your files to WAV?.

True if you sample your own instruments, but not true if you buy sample libraries.arguru wrote:under Windows is not a very common format
Because I have too many of them.arguru wrote:why dont just convert your files to WAV?
Anyway, Directwave already loads aif samples...but only if inside a kit made with other sampler (Kontakt for example).
Well, ok. I will wait for some more time.arguru wrote:It was already on TODO list

It's a different topic but: Are there too many libraries exclusive for AIFF format and not WAV? It would be weird.but not true if you buy sample libraries
