You mean the saturated driver? uhhhhm it is distortion.
But the pocket limiter can make a pretty good soft distortion plug with a minimum knee setting as well.

...Seeing as you're wanting to rough stuff up rather than re-create it. {vfracdistort... It's ancient but it still does a nice job.}

Greasetube was used for about 80% of all my distortion tracks until I replaced it with boogex and some carefully chosen impulse responses..The Chase wrote:You mean the saturated driver? uhhhhm it is distortion.

Yeah Boogex rocks. It's so versatile with good impulses. I'm amazed that it's free. It's pretty much become my standard bass amp sim. I also use it pretty often for guitars, vocals and epiano dirt.Sickle wrote:Greasetube was used for about 80% of all my distortion tracks until I replaced it with boogex and some carefully chosen impulse responses..The Chase wrote:You mean the saturated driver? uhhhhm it is distortion.
