hmm theres TLS distortion? i know of the saturator but surely its not distortion...

You mean the saturated driver? uhhhhm it is distortion.

But the pocket limiter can make a pretty good soft distortion plug with a minimum knee setting as well.

Yup, BUZ is the dog's danglies...I made a patch in Chainer
with BUZ into Mutine1 into Buzzroomreverb that I swear sounds
better than anything I've heard from ANY ampsim!

Greasetube was used for about 80% of all my distortion tracks until I replaced it with boogex and some carefully chosen impulse responses..

Yeah Boogex rocks. It's so versatile with good impulses. I'm amazed that it's free. It's pretty much become my standard bass amp sim. I also use it pretty often for guitars, vocals and epiano dirt.

CamelPhat3 and iZotope Trash are probably my favorites, but I also enjoy the Fruity WaveShaper (free in FL or part of the JuicePack)
