Hey
about 8 years ago some guy wrote a standalone 16-step beat slicer / step sequencer & charged far too much money for it. He had vertical sliders under each step in the sequencer to pick which 16th note of an audio loop would play in that step.
I've been looking at Glitch and it's similar, but has anyone written a free VSTi version?
I realize I could do something similar in Phatmatik Pro, but I'm looking for something a bit more simple, and free. And I don't need to effect each loop individually. Kind of like old school mapping of vinyl loops onto an AKAI sampler.
thanks
Beat-Slicing etc: free VSTi 16-step wav slicer / sequencer?

McDonalds consumes 1/3 of the worlds beef. They clear our rainforests to make hamburgers that go in the garbage as soon as the bell rings. There has to be a better way

The only FREE beatslicer instrument that i know is H4xx0r, and it's excellent IMO (but it doesn't have a step sequencer)
