same using either the cakewalk wrapper, or directixer :?

p

Post

the standalone crashes with the following msg:

AppName: rhino2.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: rhino2.dll
ModVer: 0.2.0.4 Offset: 00069ff3

crash-o-la... any config-type files i could delete to cause some kind of reset? (?)

p

Post

weird... delete the tmp.sav file ?

Post

ok, the minivst host now loads, and patch changing is better, but it is still super-sluggish using both the directixer & cakewalk vsts adapters

Post

patch changing is better
"...is better in the minihost than using either adapter in s5 or p5"

Post

how sluggish is sluggish ? Changing presets should be slightly slower than in previous versions, but the benefit now is that it won't cause cpu spikes any more.

Post

up to 30 seconds+ depending on the complexity

Post

woa. Say, you're really sure you have the very latest rhino2.dll in your vstplugins folder ?

well i've run each of 2.04 updates in turn without errors but the dll currently shows last modified as 290506 which seems a bit old so i'm going to try reinstalling...
