Paul and others
I'll be adding Manystation before the end of the month and I have the free CM version of Wusik (which I really like). I have a question on mapping, a general one I suppose, but as I hope to use ManyMapper at some time, thought I'd ask here.
I've accumulated a lot of wave sounds over the last couple of years, usually from the cd's that come with the monthly mags, and also from legal downloads (Hollow Sun etc).
Most of these don't cross the range of the keyboard, just sort of one offs (bear with my ignorance of mapping, I've kept arm's length and I'm still very much a newbie).
Does ManyMapper require you to have a number of samples, or can it convert to a different note?
Lets say I have a moog sample from Hollow Sun and it's just C - how can I get it to play all the other notes?
I did have the free CM Cakewalk Plasma on my hard drive a while back and I thought that it could accomplish a conversion, but deleted it as there was no manual, although I may still have the CM cd.
Is there a free or relatively cheap program that can convert if ManyMapper doesn't accomplish this?
Apologies for this being a very generalised question, but it would be a shame not to be able to use these samples.
Also, Manyguitar is great - at the moment I can't see a manual - where should I look (is there one).
Thanks again.

Hi Dave
ManyMapper will do that for you ....it will stretch the sample over the entire range. But remember the more samples you have, the better the set will sound. It does however work with single samples as well. This only takes seconds to map and make soundsets with single samples.
The Manual for ManyGuitar is in your VSTi folder inside the ManyGuitar folder.
Enjoy
