Cool !

Wait do we download teh 2.04 demo all over again??

in FLS6, with the Receptor patched version, i occasionally get an access violation error message (same as the previous bugshots I posted), but the other 2 bugs are completely gone :)

Post

G-ro: I'll play around with FL6 then. You don't need to download the demo again, just apply the latest rhino204upd.zip file.

OK - so what's the latest version now - I'm losing track?

Post

The version number hasn't changed, actually, so the latest one is still 2.04 but you should get it again if you downloaded it before June 02.

I mean I downloaded the 2.04 demo this morning - is that the latest version or is there a newer one and should I dl the single dll instead?

Well here is a weird experience. After installing the 2.04 update when it was first released a few days ago I had the same problems that most everyone else had and when the next build was released It got worse and finally had to uninstall Rhino. I reinstalled using the updated version and started to get these error messages

"Error while performong database operation no such table: CATAGORIES"

and

"Error while performing database operation no such table: PRESETS_INFO"

it does this twice and then opens but there are no longer any folders in the Library window and the setup button is missing. I am able to load presets into the bank window and they play fine but there is something wrong. When I close Rhino I get the windows error dialogue box stating that Rhino.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. I tried doing a system restore to Version 2.03 and it is still happening. I just installed the newest build and it has not corrected the problem.

My guess is that when I uninstalled I lost some parts to Rhino and they seem to be lost forever. Any idea how to fix this. I don't think this is a bug from the latest build, more than likely it happened when I did the uninstall.

Help

I was having weird issues myself today after adding Daniel's waveforms.
I was getting an GUI error; the only button along the top that appeared was the setup button (and this was as a plugin- the setup button shouldn't even be there). I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling; the installer asked me whether I wanted to install to the existing folder :? . I said yes- same issue.

Then I thought "the uninstaller should be taking the folder away as well". I backed up my presets and waves, uninstalled and then deleted the Rhino folder. After a reboot, I reinstalled from the latest 2.04 installer and moved everything back in. Works like a champ now :)

Well eric, I think you might be on to something , I did save my waves and preset folders but only moved the preset folder back. I will give that a try and see what happens 8)

Give it a try, Bruce :)
Just be sure to delete the old Rhino folder as well...

I'll try that again, I don't think I deleted the folder before. 8)
