Particularly off "antichrist superstar"

an album i used to like ALOT as a kid --

The sounds, well -- are sort of crappy, but somehow i picture them fitting into a few songs i have --

im thinking about the drums, particularly -- obviously the vocals on "the reflecting god" are doubled -- but imo theres some really cool sound ideas.

the drums, are almost like a decent electronic set. BFD in raw form, seems a bit to detailed and clean to sound like that -- any ideas for processing?

I think there were some cool sounds on 'Holywood'. I know he used splitter boxes to send synth and guitars into various chains and recording them all as composites - an interesting idea! For example, I think he had weird old amps next to software distortions and DI chains etc.

As far as the drums go, for the heavier songs (irresponsible hate anthem etc)the effects seem to be slight reverb, maybe a little gain/distortion but not much. On the lighter songs there is a lot of distortion on the bass drums. The man that you fear has a delay on the snare. Weird little electronic quirks with sometimes bad results. But as we know, Marilyn Manson gives a rats ass about what we would consider bad results.
