well as I'm about to take these down from the server soon, I might as well try:

I'd like to travel north Traditional chill-out music

Recovery is not an option Dark ambient

let me know if they are good enough, I don't actually know how this EMC thing works - thanks.

That's the beautiful thing about KVR -
you can submit anything you like to them, and it will get played.
How often something i splayed is determined by requests for the song
plus people like me pointing out songs we like to Techbot (and pointing out ones
that need to be mastered somewhat because they're quiet as hell)
and the least popular song automatically gets played at some point in the day, too.

That's what I love about EMC - anyone can submit anything and I didn't expect it but there's
a lot of brilliant music being made by we weirdo ameteurs.

let's see...
This is a question.
so I dump songs on 'my' site all the time, and I remove songs all the time.
If I post links do you slurp the files or what?
-just curious and stupid about the usage of tunage.

I see, thanks runagate. Then it's got more to do with my confidence. I'll listen to EMC for a while and then think again - thing is I'm making fast progress with my "musicianship", and that sort of tells that the older tunes are probably not that great.

I know that when you post download links on The Auditorium's submission thread
that Techbot or Bendybones comes along, DLs them, then they get permanently stuck
on their server somewhere.

So yeah you need to post download links or a link to your page that has downloads.
They can't spend the time capturing streams or whatnot.

I'm pretty sure that the posted links get slurmed up from here, too, but this isn't
where I personally post mine so I'm not entirely sure.

So if you're taking stuff down off your site then if you toss the links to KVR early on
it'll give em a chance to grab them before you take em down.

As to confidence, don't worry about that. If you later need to deny that you ever made
a song you can contact them to take a song off their playlist any old time.

You might also want to post a link to your personal music page, too, for when they do
their giant site upkeep they'll link your name and request page (where people can request
your songs) to your music page whatever that may be. Of course, if it matters a lot
it's always good to check that everything's right. I'm pretty sure my music site link
on there is wrong but I simply don't care - I've no reason to promote my songs ;)
You can always politely ask them to fix stuff; they're busy but super, super nice.

Also, it helps a lot if your artist name and song name are the title of the files,
and you give them mp3 tags, too. They recently taught me that you can select a bunch of
mp3s and edit artist/album info and the like by right clicking and selecting properties
and it'll change all the info for all the mp3s at once.

So, please submit songs! They can always use more.

is there a playlist anywhere on your site? can't seem to find one.

:dog: :bang:

For ages i've been usin external mp3 tag apps to rename tags in mp3's! (which btw, is very tedius), I never knew if you just double clicked the txt in properties -> summary you could change it from there!

Oh what a fool I am.

Winamp makes that task so easy :) and it has both ID2 & ID3 tag capabilities for compatibility with h/w players, etc. ;)

Did I just add to the confusion here :hihi:
