It seemed to basically do the things that the real MS does, but with more of that digital-type cleanness and purity. Doesn't sound like it's about to go over the edge, as the real one so often does. This isn't me being an analog-digital purist guy, because all I really care about is the sound, not what made it.
I also couldn't seeem to get that singing octave-up sound that I like, but that's a really interactive thing on this pedal, as it has to deal with the envelope filter and the square wave. So that might have just been me needing to tweak a bit more. And it might be a kick to put something else in front of it to see about warming it up and making it a little dirtier.
I'm definitely gonna monkey with it some more though. It may well reward some tweaking.
All just IMHO, of course...And I'm used to hearing the MS through an old Blackface Deluxe, and it's been a couple of years since the pedal worked right for me, so my memory could be inaccurate...
