I'm interested to hear some feedback on this from users of the Chandler Limited stuff. The hardware TG-2 EMI/Abbey Road pre is one of the single best purchases I have made. I use it far more even than my Manley pres. I have thought very hard about buying the TG-1 limiter from Chandler, but at nearly four grand, it is not a purchase I am rushing into. If they have nailed the sound, this plug might be a good addition (but, alas, in a different format...not TDM or RTAS here).
Why do I suddenly get the urge to go get ProTools LE to try this thing?

Cool, I hadn't seen that it would be out in other formats. I will probably give in sometime to the urge to buy the TG-1 hardware limiter, and it might be nice to have software variations available, too.
I cannot begin to describe how very much I love the TG-2 pre...

I got a chance to A/B test the EMI 12413 plugin with the Chandler TG-1 Abbey Road Special Edition hardware at the AES convention in Paris a couple of weeks ago. I tell you, the hardware sounds truly great, the plugin sounds like a more gentle version of the hardware. I couldn't get the same agressiveness out of the plug. But still the plugin was not bad at all...

Ok...I'll give them benefit of the doubt for now...we'll see what happens when it comes out in vst.ttoz wrote:well it's not mentioned anywhere, but 99% of rtas plugins ARE, and they usually dont change it for the vst port.TotcProductions wrote:ttoz wrote:and guaranteed ilok.TotcProductions wrote:Nah, don't go Pro-Tools LE Scot...they'res a note on the site that VST and AU is on the way.
