I'm interested to here some drum samples before and after sampling with an E-MU EMAX 1. I've read that the sampler has the same internal sound engine as the SP-12(00), and that it would be an cheap alternativ to get the same phat and lo-fi drum sounds.

Does anybody perhaps have some examples or an EMAX 1 and could make an example?

I have two Emax 1's (or 1000 as they are officially called). Any specific samples you'd like me to sample for you ? As a test ?

The EMAX does not have the exact same sampling engine as the SP. But it does sound close, and it sounds very good....

The SP 12/1200 is a little dirtier sounding.
