Quick question about automation lanes: suppose I have a short sequence loop(e.g., 8 measures) and I want to play it several times in a row, gradually increasing the volume. What is the best way to accomplish this? Create a long part and copy the notes of the little riff over and over in the long part, and then ramp up the volume in the automation lane? Or is there some way to do this, which involves maintaining a short loop and somehow programming the automation into multiple iterations of the short loop?
Thanks!

There are two ways:
1) Work with 1 part as long as the volume automation, iterate the short loop for the length of the part, then record/draw in the volume curve.
2) Work with 2 parts: 1 with a short looped sequence, and 1 with the volume automation curve.

ok, I think I figured it out finally.... I never quite knew what the "second list" of players was, the one for the non-synths. Now I see....they're for the mixer strips, effects, etc. So if you have a part for a mixer strip or effect, then the parameters for that strip or effect appear under "Parameters" for you to tweak. Thanks!
