Time synched FX VST? [flange, phase, arpeggiators etc]

Hi --
Does anyone know of any good time synched FX VSTs that do flange, phase, arpeggiation etc? I have Filterscape and Fabfilter, and they are very good at what they do - but only really timesynch EQ and delay (and as neither really has a comb filter the other types of effects can't be created as a side effect of something else).
Actually, what I'm trying to do is recreate some of the things the Adrenalinn can do in software - my Adrenalinn is great, but it would be nice if I had some way of reproducing its functionality in software as it would make it easier to effect tracks that originate inside the PC to start with.

Though it's not its main function I use Lucifer2 for time synced effects. It has filters (including comb), distortion effects, flangers and couple more fx types. Tt can modulate its own parameters synced to the host tempo including reverse and pitch shift.

Metallurgy sounds like it really fits the bill for this.
If you're not altogether averse to a bit of modular patch building, another option is the KarmaFXmodular synth - you can step sequence a variety of effects pretty easily.

Just checking it out - is there a simple tutorial somewhere ? I'm guessing i should be using the Karma Synth FX (rather than Karma Synth).robenestobenz wrote:If you're not altogether averse to a bit of modular patch building, another option is the KarmaFXmodular synth - you can step sequence a variety of effects pretty easily.
I have figured out the fact that I can have an 'Input' as a Generator. Not worked out the significance of the routing fully yet - and have yet to produce any sound from it with just an input and the output.
I take it that the routing that applies when using the popup menu over the main volume is the routing for the device itself - whereas the ones near the controls are intended to modulate the controls

A tutorial is forthcoming according to Kasper, the KarmaFX developer.
Quick guide:
Right click to add components (as you probably know).
To connect components together, you can right click on the component header (most likely what you've done) or, for a much more fast and easy method:
So for a most basic step sequencer controlling a comb filter affecting incoming audio, for example, you would place an input module, a comb filter and a step sequencer. You'd hold ctrl and click click from the header of the input module to the header of the comb filter to the header of the output module. You'd then add your step sequencer and set it up to the timing, number of steps etc that you'd like, and ctrl+click the header and then the comb filter parameter that you want to modulate.
Module and component are interchangeable terms here. Sorry, I'm tired.

- Hold ctrl and click on the header of the component whose signal you want to route
- Still holding ctrl, click on the destination of the signal and let go of ctrl
For audio, this destination will almost always be the header of another module. If you are routing a signal from a modulation module though, you will generally want to route it to one of the destination module's sliders or faders since modulation signals don't make for great listening.

Thanks - I did all this and can't get any audio to actually come out - using FLStudio.robenestobenz wrote: So for a most basic step sequencer controlling a comb filter affecting incoming audio, for example, you would place an input module, a comb filter and a step sequencer. I managed to build a simple synth though - so it seems to work as a VSTi, but I can't get it to 'pass through' audio in VST mode.

Try sending a MIDI note to it. I think there is a bug where in certain cases the audio input only turns on when triggered, even if it isn't set up to do so.chrisstiles wrote:I managed to build a simple synth though - so it seems to work as a VSTi, but I can't get it to 'pass through' audio in VST mode.
If you flip to one of the live input presets, I find that it'll right itself.
