I'd like to give it to someone who would use it if (s)he could. So I'll run a little competition here.
In short:
Anyone who posts a home made preset bank or sample pack here enters the competition.
In detail:
1) make a preset bank, preferably for affordable plugs OR a sample pack
2) post it here and submit it to the KVR preset banks section or the Auditorium (or somewhere similar)
3) sunday the 18th of june, I will draw the winner. I will try to find a totally transparent way of drawing so there can be no doubt everyone gets a fair chance (right now, I think I'll number the submissions and then use some internet lottery as random number generator to pick the winner)

SUBMISSIONS:

What you'll find inside is:
- The house loop in REX format.
- The house loop as individual slices (labeled 001-024), along with a corresponding MIDI file. If you map them in your drumsampler of choice, starting with slice 001 at C1 and go up chromatically, then slap the MIDI file into your sequencer, you should get the original loop (which, btw, works best at something between 110-130 BPM).
- A Battery (1) and DR-008 file for the slices, so you don't need to drag them into them yourself.
- A cheesy drumkit in Battery (1) and DR-008 format. Dunno why I added it. Used some sounds of other selfrecorded stuff. Pretty mediocre, but hey, I wanted this pack to be sort of "complete".
- 5 sampler patches in EXS24 and Kontakt (1.5) format:
() "SF_Bassy01": good for basses, also good for some sequences...
() "SF_ESM_Seq": Originally planned as a bass as well, I use that for whatever compings though.
() "SF_HouseBass": A rather simple bass, but I tend to use it quite sometimes.
() "SF_Plucky01": A pluck-ish comping sound that I happen to like.
() "SF_StringPad01": Well, what it says...
A note about those sampler patches: They're not exactly made for any freebie sampler (wanted to map them for SFZ, but uhm, no time to get into SFZed), but, they should be easy to remap into any sampler. All the wavefiles contain proper looppoints (which any sampler should read fine) and proper notenames. So remapping them should really only take a few minutes. Also, apart from a tiny bit of filtering, I didn't do much to them.
Here's the pack:

And here's a very cheesy MP3 with all the sounds more or less following each other (plucky, loop and housebass, bassy, seq, pad and in the end I replaced the loop with the drumset), just a delay added, anything else is the raw sounds:
