I might have been right.
The pluggo thing to install first is not a very good point in my opinion (i try to keep my machine clean, avoiding to install 12654987 software, even if i always try new stuff.. !), but i did not know that you could put your plugins wherever you want...
That way it is nicer, then.
I tried some pluggo plugins (pluggoJr, the movie plugin for Live, phasetone, etc.). It was fun, but not so essential to me... (my very own opinion).
Oh, and the reason for using Pluggo to develop is that for people using Max/MSP it's a pretty straight-forward port over into VST. Personally, I can do things with Max/MSP in a few minutes that would take me hours upon hours of frustration in C++, or aren't even possible as far as I know Synthedit/Synthmaker (quick coding of openGL GUI stuff, for example), so it's the path for me right now.
Ok, this is a good reason !
