This is the message I got when opening a fresh window from my bookmark.
The EMC window (tab) that I normally keep open is showing Brigids Garden with a Joomla linux wrapper, in the offset centre, which doesn't seem to be closable within the page.

Needless to say at 8:36am on Thursday everything went to shit. It is now Tues 10:20am and it looks as if it is all returning to normal whatever the f**k that means.

Honestly, I've been close to tears on several occasions over the past few days. I actually GROWLED on the phone. They told me there was nothing wrong ie nothing they could do and it looked like I might have to change ISP again. Then their whole network went down, got repaired, and I was still down. Then last night it suddenly rose from the dead.

I'm really worn out and need another day or two break.

I will return to station master duties by Friday.

No JKC have been rock solid. It's my ISP service that was causing the grief. This is the second time they have fallen over and the longest.

However I'm not actually ready to change, if they get their act together, (despite the call centre nonsense) they have proven to be the most flexible ISP to date.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. It's been very strange over the past few days knowing the music was not being aired. It really took the wind out of everyday life.

I got some of my own mixing done but it felt rather empty and pointless not working to the deadline of 10:00, when I do my shows.

Jeff:
1) The request link on the front page should now work.

2) The request policy has changed. You can request yourself, but the station will not repeat an artist within an hour period. This is to encourage people to request other peoples tunes and to ensure a more solid playlist.

You can now request commercial tunes too. See

Hmm not working for me, either.
It's not working like "absolutely nothing happens" on any of my bookmarked pages.
I hate to do it but I may have to fly to Europe and kick his isp's buttock.

The evening air wisped by the man's face as he walked, slightly staggered, along the long road that led from the town to his little village-like estate, some two miles down the road. The sun now hanging low in the sky ( threatening to drop the last few degress at any moment) shone directly into his face. But he didn't mind, it gave him an excuse to wear his sunglasses despite the late hour, thus hiding any reddening around the pupils that might have occured.

Hungry, he increased the paced, not by much mind you. In this state he found it difficult to judge time and speed anyways.Though he wanted to get home quick, he wasn't that pushed about putting an effort into it.

Lines of computer code trailed by on the little computer screen in his mind's eye. Numbers and letters that when put together held unlimited possibiilites. He tried to narrow things down.

He traced things back again. From his mind to the computer, (via the keyboard) next to the harddrive to the webserver, streaming.

He put his hands in his pockets and hung his head, to focus on his feet. Not what is in front, in the distance, the blinding dying sun. Not to focus on the horizon or everything in between. The town moving slowly closer.
He watched his feet moving with their own rythym without direct conscious instructions yet somehow at his command. He watched the ground blur past.

What about podcasts? or m3u's. How to beat time? Timezones? Radio...Does anyone really want radio? An online jukebox. No

Immediate paranoia subside quickly, he saw the men at waist-height fidling with torches, chatting to each other as they bustled. As he got closer the writing on the large van confirmed his fears. The electricity board. One of three climbed out of the hole as he saw me approach.
