Yeah ... wow!! Things are looking great for FreeAmp !!! It'll be the best looking amp sim around - that's for sure!!
BTW, I've been using FreeAmpSE 1.5 a lot more lately. I've decided I like TLs Saturated Driver better than GreaseTube as a "clean" boost in front of FreeAmp, and that I like to run the same "mastering" type processing I use on my other amp sim setup afterward (light compression, room type ambience, and limiting). Sounds great, even feels great on my favorite settings, and a lot of flexibility! Thanks for the great guitar toolbox!
Now I really can't wait for the new GUI and I'm even more excited about the new Guitsyn component!!

The modulation and resonance envelope finally included (last two takes).
All were done using CP75 as an amp and the same delay settings and amp patch on all! (Pretty distorted patchI'm quite confident it will respond as well on clean and crunch patches though.
The gate of this thing is turning out GREATfastest most accurate audio triggered gate I have ever played
It's amazing how far it has come now that tracking pitch and its timing is not an issue; Yep, now that is a real guitar synth.
Check out how fast it tracks on the third take, the gate retriggers with each note unless sustained. And the gate is real easy to setup for different preformance types eg: fast picking or long sustain.

The guitar synth is going to put FreeAmp WAY ahead of the pack - one of the very best amp sims around and THE best guitar synth ever devised (based on the demo recording and my experience with the other FrettedSynths)! I cannot see how that can be beat!! Do I even need any hardware other than my guitar and audio interface anymore? I really am starting to think not! I will need one of those Behringer midi pedal boards now, though. Man, a guitar synth that actually works, WITH great tube amp sims and just about every stomp effect I've ever used all in a single free VST...the near future looks bright indeed

The skin is done, and I've alerted joe to pick it up and start implementation. I tested every single control using the GVST FX skin engine (grahams engine is elite and lets you configure arbitrary number of frames, orientation, and width and frame height) -- so every control works pixel perfect.
The skin kit weighs in at about 2.4mB (due to the heavy tube-grill animation which is 30 frames -- that's pretty decent interpolation IMO). Everything should work 100% though, and now it's out of my hands.
Soon we will all have our dream amp again!
Thanks to all for your support and kind words. It really motivates me to continue doing this stuff when I know that people appreciate it and are as excited about it as I am myself

What can I say other than you guys are really doing a great job adding more awesomeness to an already awesome free guitar amp. The finished GUI is absolutely beautiful to look at. I really look foward to using the synth that's gonna be included in the 2.0 version. Outstanding work there fellas!
get off my lawn!!!
