Desktop Laptop sync problems in SX3

really going nuts trying to sync two computers under sx3 using midi time code
laptop->Radium49->Midex 8 In-> Desktop

communication is ok desktop is slaved to laptop with proper frame rate and transport sync is esteblished
problem is sync gets lost after about 32 bars at high tempos
tried observing offset and entering values in both project setup and record placement offset in many values with no success

btw not suprisingly it works perfect in ableton live 5.2 with a delay of 0.32 ms tried to enter same valuse in cubase no go

im enjoying live but work native in sx3 so im going nuts to solve this problem
any help would be greatly appriciated
