Did you get the links? i sent them yesterday?

pw - yes we probably will release this as a low priced set available on its own for those guys that want it but do not own our instruments.

Cheers
Paul
I'm gonna check that account right now. :) 55 relevant emails in my yahoo acount, as I stayed away from the studio yesterday....went to see the Omen remake...was very upset about how they changed the decapitation scene, but other than that, it was pretty good. :P

Checking now. :)

Wow, I just listened the demos and I'm very impressed. I can't wait to get my grubby little meathooks on these!

By the way, I think an advantage of having the samples in tune (particularly the Sitar soundset) is that way you can always load a microtuning into ManyStation or ManyGuitar to get a certain tuning. If the samples are out of tune to begin with... it's difficult to do that. :)

Another use for the microtunings would be using the just temperament which string players use. So with this upcoming upright bass you could do this, for example.

Hey Riley
I sent you a preview of the soundset ....Did you try her out yet?

For those that missed it ...here is the mp3 demo again:
http://www.manytone.com/music/Manytone_Sitar_Demo.mp3

Again this set will be free for all our customers if the Group buy reaches 200 by the end of the month.
Presently at 151.

I am also planning on getting together with Boris again in the future to do some more extensive sampling of this Siitar and some of his other instruments. (He has an old Rhodes and Hammond and an old Leslie amongst other things!)

No, I didn't get it. Was it a download link? My ISP won't allow any attachments bigger than 5mb.

Did you use my mtr AT austin DOT rr DOT com account?

Thanks! Riley

It's an excellent-sounding sitar. A bigger sample set can only be good news. I'm pretty happy with EMM Knagelis as my go-to 'drones' instrument (its sounds, BTW, ought to work nicely in ManyOne). I'd certainly use this for more 'authentic' work. I think if you added this to Manyguitar, people would be very happy. :)

Funny, I ran into a chick a couple of weekends back with an old Rhodes. Good singer/ace keyboardist. Reminder to me to get on with forming a band...one guitar/one drummer/three or more keyboards = VST heaven

Paul, long time no speak.
Sitar sounds fantastic! If the group buy doesn't reach 200, count me in for a purchase.

No point joining the group buy as I own all those products.

The nthbeatle is going to love having a sitar to play with - if he can get it downloaded via dial-up. Doh!!

Great vibe,

Is it up to 200 yet? I would love to be able use that for composing. Almost the end of the month! :)

It's good and very close in sound to the one used by the Rolling Stones with Paint it Black,

Very 60's that sound because of it, :)

Best regards,

Holy Crap,

This is just what I want!

Any idea on how much this well be if the group buy doesn't hit 200? What if someone only wants this, but doesn't want to join the group buy? I guess if someone was to buy the UBK they wouldn't qualify for this?

Does manyguitar have everyting in the UBK?

Thanks,

dw
