battery (and other ni products, i think) has the "cycle round robin" feature, which allows a selected group of samples to be triggered one-after-another with each successive hit of a relevant key. so repeatedly hitting the same key on your keyboard could trigger samples 1, 2 and 3 on the first, second and third hits, respectively.
however, i'd like to be able to use this feature but have the samples played back in random order, so are there any samplers that have something like cycle round robin in a random order?

lol, no. it has a random setting called "alt" and triggers the same sample frequently (depending on the # of samples)alma is a fish wrote:reasons sampler does this also.

GigaStudio 3 and for drum samplers NUSofting DK+ do it too. In DK+, you can even set up the probability of each sample being played.
