Better sampler, Kontakt vs. Mach Five

Which is a better sampler for live use, Kontakt2 or Mach Five? I know Kontakt has more features, but I am needing to use the sampler in a live situation so it has to be stable, and Kontakt sounds very buggy. That being said, I've also heard Mach Five has problems importing various sample libraries which it says it is compatible with. I'm also wanting to use Mac, which I have heard Kontakt does not like as well as PC. Any personal experience? Thanks!

As a professional sample designer, I would recommend in the following order...
1. Kontakt
2. Giga
3. MachFIVE
4. HALion
My input, FWIW.

You might want to check out DirectWave and Shortcircuit too. Personally, I think MachFive is a joke; I wouldn't go near it.
Kontakt 2 does have some pretty cool features for speeding up loading times, so if you created Banks ahead of time, you could literally arrow-key your way through patches, even big ones. But then again, it can take several seconds just to expand a folder tree in the Browser, even with the stupid database on.
I'd recommend trying out the Kontakt demo. Interestingly, it's the only one that you can try before buying! That, the format support and popularity could be a selling point right there!
