Why? Apparently the fun of actually making music with it has worn off.. seeing all the religious reaper fannies are just talking about it on forums and doing other nonsense

seeing those post on threads complaining about it is even more pathetic "emma" ;)

I have already laid down several tracks --

but right now the hype is building, and its justifiable hype -- the word is being spread because this program is alike and yet unlike any other and works so efficiently...

or perhaps someone like you doesnt enjoy progress?

Sure, i have been testing features and requesting features and giving ideas on how to implement features, but its all worth it for the tool that will soon replace a 650 dollar investment for me ;)

but if you wish to keep trolling, feel free :D

but I can't place a pin there. Strange, the one Garritan posted I could just click the map and the pin got added
No, that wasn't me.

Actually development has finally come to a pace that most can better handle, and we're not constantly checking new features, we're finding less bugs, and it doesn't often break anymore.

The Reaper forum is also a much better community of people. It's actually a MUCH nicer place to hang out.

Apparently there is always one sour apple in the bunch. I wonder who in this thread that would be :hihi: :?: I know, some people just don't like to be happy and inturn want to try and make the world around them just as miserable. I think they have medications for that......you might want to see a psychiatrist to fill a prescription for you......either that or you must use Cubase SX regularly. I heard that is known to make some people miserable also.

You do not seem to be aware of it, but that's what people who like and respect one another do: they talk about music, nonsense, religion, Dr. Who, cat sounds, whatever - when they, in the great REAPER forum at least, do not seriously discuss audio routing or midi velocity. When they disagree, they come up with arguments or jokes or they start teasing a bit. It's just like family life! If you can't stand it, don't be part of it. It's a great and colourful community.

I f**king hate the Reaper forum - everything is so unbearably peaceful there!

I added myself. REAPER has been a real blessing for me the last few days. I'll explain why later, in another thread :D

Very well said, Alex!

Alex and I don't always see eye to eye, but get along just fine. He's a great guy, is VERY knowlegable, and a DAMNED valuable member of the Reaper forum. We're lucky to have people like him around.

The Reaper forum is one of the only forums I ever visit. Why? Because it's civilized. People there are helpful, and decent. I don't recall a single flame war breaking out in the 6 months I've been hanging around there. Not that noone ever disagrees, but people there are mature enough to know how LADIES and GENTLEMEN handle disgreements.

We fully intend to keep it a civil place.
