very nice mp3 samples. I really like that chorus-effected sample. I look forward to Discord 2. Having just got Dubstation, I've been distracted lately, though...

I wont let this go to page two. :P

Heh. You guys are very patient, and thanks for that.

Quick update: Discord 2 is basically finished. The OSX and Windows installers are out for final testing, and we're writing the manual right now. Provided nothing bad is discovered, D2 will be on sale tomorrow (Thursday.)

My moneys ready

loved the Mp3 demos

Very, very cool sounding demos. Now if you can only turn it into an intelligent harmonizer, that would also let me unintelligently mess with pitch in realtime (a la varispeed tape on a harmonized voice) then I'd never leave the house. But this may very well be my first Audiodamage plug-in.
I'm sorry this post wasn't about techno.

It's funny you bring that up. As anyone who has read this thread or my blog knows, this plug was _really_ a beast to get out the door, and if I never have to hear about pitch shifting again for a very long time, I'll be a happy person for it. (Never mind Adam; I though he was gonna quit the business a couple times!)

That said, I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "intelligent harmonizer." That phrase is misused a lot, so if you could describe what you're talking about a little better, it'd be helpful. The reason I ask is that I actually do keep track of every feature that gets requested, either in forums or privately, so when we're designing upgrades or new plugs, I know what people are looking for.

I _assume_ you mean what "intelligent harmonizer" is generally take to mean, that is, shifting to definable or preset scales. This would involve pitch detection, which isn't very easy, and is quite processor-intense. If that's not what you mean, let me know.

Man, the traffic on the AD site is cracking me up. Everyone is just pressing refresh on the D2 page! In any case, we're just finishing up the manual. A couple more hours.

Yep, I'm pretty sure that's what he means -and- I'll buy the thing with or without it but an "intelligent harmonizer" would put Discord 2 way ahead of the pack !!
