Freeware Effect Wishlist

So, what's on everybody's wishlist for a good freeware plugin that doesn't exist (so far as they know)? I have a few on my list:
acoustic guitar emulation (ie, an ampsim that models 1 or more acoustic guitars from the electric's output)
upright bass emulation (same as above, but electric bass input to upright-sounding output)
fretless bass Emulation
formant shifting (gender voicing, instrument timbral effects)

There used to be a great freeware one of those, but the dev disappeared and took all his stuff with him. He had a free harmonizer, too.Moseph wrote:formant shifting (gender voicing, instrument timbral effects)
I can't think, are there any types of effects that only exist as commercial things?
How about a freeware oilcan delay emulator? Maybe a microphone or speaker emulator (although convolution does this fine enough).
Also, don't care if it's free or not, but there are no ringmod and frequency shifters modelled to sound anything like their original analog counterparts.

I think the idea is an automatic algorithm. One that finds the noise and gets rid of it as it arises.shamann wrote:Isn't that just an EQ?marce wrote:feedback eliminator

A silky-smooth, analog-style EQ that uses zilch CPU, is stable and doesn't have a weird interface.

A triggered echo-reverb that could be one-shot or bpmed, sort of like in a song when a artist last word is "hey" and its on-on-on in tempo with music. It usally done in the studio manully, but to have in automatic or simple triggered would be cool, the name I thought would be called the pothole.

Some nice smooth filter plug that do not scare the craps out of me or my speakers if it is automated a little extreme.
A voice harmonsing plug, that feeds on midi and calculates the harmonies with algoritms.
A plug that can trigger the input rhytmically the way Real Guitarist
does with it's styles.
Cheers
