You need to move the warp markers to the place where you want the beats to fall. Double click a warp marker to do this. Only "yellow" warp markers are locked, but those are the ones that will be copied to other clips, which is what counts.dusted william wrote:What do you mean by set all groove clips? do you mean just turn them on, or get them in a spot where I want them to sound?
This is just a technique for audio tracks. If you want to go with this for a mixed Audio/MIDI session you would need to render the MIDI clips as audio and copy the Warp Template in the same way to the rendered audio. In a drum break the transients can be either before or after the perfect quantized warp markers. I want to copy these transient locations and apply them to another clip..midi or audio. Is this what you are explaining?
A "proper" Groove Quantise feature would make all this easier I'm sure, and it would certainly be near the top of my wish list for Live 6 too
For multitrack audio recording however, this technique is probably better. Used with care you can get the various parts of a whole multitrack session to stay perfectly in time together. Also this can (so I am told!) be a useful way of avoiding the phase problems that might occur if there's any spill between tracks on a live recording.
Thanks, but the genius in question is not meBèndybônz wrote:Thanks headquest, that's genius
