Is this the same piano VSTI that Bluedad's been working with?

Very nice piano and beautifully demonstrated, I'll be keeping an eye on it.

Someone's been talking about Vangelis, inspiration-wise, but the end kinda reminds me of the famous eerie 'Moment In Love' intro by The Art Of Noise.

When can we expect a little more information on the plug itself? I like what I hear, but I'm ready to hear who it is from, when it might be available, etc.

I have been playing with this instrument too (sorry, but I am under Undisclosure, so I cannot be more specific). What I can say is that, having experienced lots of pianos (samplers, VSTi's, etc, and knowing very well what a real piano sounds like (I have studied classical composition), I can tell that this i the closest I ever experienced to a real piano, and has a very wide sonic palette, from rock piano, through jazz piano, to classical piano and romantic piano.
And I can confirm that the sound banks (there will be several to choose from) are around 60 Mb. Really impressive.

I would like to congratulate reflekshun on a top musical piece.

When I first started to listen did not think it was going to be for me. But WOW has it grown on me.

Great stuff, so are the developers aiming at the professional market or will they go (hopefully) a bit wider for the hobbyist musicians among us in terms of pricing?
Also is this a new or established developer?

I've been there as a betatester and as the products GUI designer for quite some time now. The tone and feel of this piano VSTi makes you wanna play forever. Simply adjust it to the way you want it to sound, to your keyboard and to the way you play. It doesn't require you to adjust to the VSTi for it to respond like you want, the VSTi adjusts to you (hey that sounded cool). Something that's a first for me.

No long loading times, sound dropouts or glitches. It is truly an amazing VSTi to play.

Regarding the question of dev:
They are an established developer with a huge and serious track history but this is the first serious attempt at breaking into the commercial VSTi instrumental market. From what I heard they've been secretly working on this product for around 3 years now.

Love the sound. Definitely interested.

Are you at liberty to disclose whether or not this plug will be spoiled with obtrusive copy protection (C/R, PACE, or somesuch)?

So I am the only one who judges both the piano sound and the song as plain soft romantic kitsch.

Well, such is life in China.

Not bad sounding at all. In league with the better digital pianos I've heard. Little weak in the upper mids, but beautiful nonetheless.

Cryosis - Glad you enjoyed it - keep in mind that the piano I played was one of many presets. There are other presets that cover very different ground with their overall sound.
indeed, it does seem like a great piano, I just love my piano's to have a ton of warmth, once theres more demos I'll be sure to check them out :)

whats the price range? anyone know?

Unless there is some kind of tangible information to be shared about the plug, availability, platform, price range, etc - information we can use - then the song could have just been posted in the Music Cafe. I understand NDAs; I don't quite understand the point of posting and then not being able to discuss the instrument with us, except for the concept of viral marketing.
