It's amazing how the worst actors are always cast for these English-speaking "gaijin" roles in Japan...

edit: just for the sake of posting obnoxious stuff from Japan...

edit again: sorry about that... here's the new Polysics video with the return of Strong Machine 2... (note: Kayo's hair is starting to look cute again but Fumi's is as jacked-up as always!)

and here's Strong Machine 2 live on Utaban...

and here's a little bump for the additions above...

Soniccat got me inspired, so here's a psych and garage spectacular…

Voidoid, thanks for reminding me that I need to pick-up a Music Machine CD sometime... (I heard a couple of mp3's back in the early days of Napster but never got around to checking them out properly/completely)

And speaking of Strawberry Alarm Clock... "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls" was finally released on DVD earlier this week!

[edited for typos!]

And let's not forget the Seeds!

("We think it's gassy!" :hihi: )

Sean Bonniwell had one of the coolest voices of the genre…I haven't gotten around to picking up Turn On yet, but I can highly reccomend Beyond the Garage which they released under the name Bonniwell Music Machine, and Sundazed Music re-released with some bonus singles and unreleased tracks.

And here's yet another youtube garage gem…

That is quite possibly the most badass music video I've ever seen.

Goddamnit, you went and beat me to it while I got up to let the cat in!

Nice.

It got pushed back, but if you check the bottom of the last page, I found some goods you might get a kick out of…

Yeah, without a doubt; his voice and the awesome fuzz guitar-riff on the song "Trouble" are what got me instantly hooked... 8)

I was just going to pick up Turn On 'cause I'm lazy (and it's the first CD listed on Amazon) but I'll look into Beyond The Garage as well... thanks!

Yeah, I thought it was curious that you neglected to add the Seeds... I should have known better...

But as a consolation prize, here's some classic mid-90's Japanese garage-punk...

Unfortunately the sound is utter shite but hey... it's not much worse than their actual recordings!

Holy Shit, 'Out of the Body'!

:hail:

That's one of the best f**king death metal albums EVER made, imo..

What band was the Autopsy guy originally from? Wasn't he an early Death member?
