no features are ever added, bugs are not fixed, releases are few and far between, I wouldnt ever promote this thing...

Same here. You are exactly right.
Audio is not bad. Start adding vsts and you're asking for trouble...and a reboot!

I still own version 3 for old project compatability, but version 4 upgrade is only 25 bucks....that's 25 bucks I'll never spend.

Interesting. So it's really the fanboy users you hate, not the actual program?

I'm slightly the same way with regard to FL, although nothing personal about specific people - just a general sense.

Yes, it's the users. All the breathless juveniles really put me off. Just like a truly annoying ad might turn you off an otherwise good product. And I can see how, for some, FL might fit into this same scheme...

edit: And yes, no one in particular, just a general "brand feel"
