True, but without those things FL really gets on my nerves and you know my nerves are weak :)

are you sure that's wise to make public?.....that might be like pee wee herman walking through the worst city at 2am singing I've got 10,000 dollars in my pocket :hihi:

No way to raise / lower velocity of multiple selected notes by equal amount all at once.

If you select the notes, then double-click one of them it will come up with 'note properties'. Then, if you adjust the 'volume' knob, the velocity of the notes selected will be raised or lowered by whatever percentage you choose.

It irritates me that people criticize something without knowing the facts.

LTP...

It should be called: pimping loops of somting like that.
They have been trying hard for several years to get people to call it FL Studio...some on looptalk have almost become militant about it :hihi:
:hihi: it's "Fruity" forever, for me. it's just too fun to drop that name, and then demolish all holier-than-thou EM-wanker smirks within a 10-km radius with chugging bass mayhem courtesy the mighty fruit.. oh yes :D

8. No step gator,so effects like the gatemask in Tunafish or the gates in Albino2 are not possible.
 thank f**k :hihi:
12 - Friendly customer service.
I don't see your problem.. Way I see it, people who a) have a genuine problem, and b) have obviouisly searched the support forum for it, with no luck, are treated fairly and courtiously.
Those who don't, and haven't, are treated like the lazy-ass lamers they deserve to be :)

I totally disagree, the customer service personnel should always...I repeat always act with nothing but dignity towards their customers, even when the customer is being a jerk...they should still be above stooping to such lame childish behavior. Companies should live by the rule that there is no stupid question...when staff says rtm it's bad enough....I wouldn't accept that if I brought my new car into the dealer because the new cruise control confused me...so why would I accept it from a software developer...but I have seen far too many times staff on FL say rtfm...if anyone who worked for me swore at my customers they would not do it twice...to think in any way at all that that is acceptable is absurd...but as I recall one staff member had that in big letters in his profile....I believe in professionlism from companies I give my hard earned money to and will accept nothing less....it's called respect.

My favourite quote from "the f**king manual":
ImageBooBass is a monophonic, realistic bass generator with adjustable frequency response and supports portamento slides. If you are reading this section because you are having trouble understanding this plugin, we suspect your video recorder is flashing ‘12:00’; and you stop your alarm clock ringing in the morning by shutting it in a drawer!

In my experience the tech support people are kinda helpless. Outside of teaching someone to properly setup their latency and other simple toubleshooting problems they are clueless.

The FL price/quality ratio makes a good choice for a young person or anyone just getting into music creation. Newbie questions should be expected from this market but very little tolerance is shown from the developers or the more experienced users. Great software for first time users. Horrible support attitude for first time users. Letting experienced users badger new members who post questions is very unprofessional.

or the more experienced users.
that wasn't always the case

I think it must get tiring to get complaints like the ones that started this thread. I couldn't be that patient for that long. I think if you have a real technical or operational problem then they'll help out. But if you write to them whining about a keyboard shortcut whose lacking makes the programme bad then you'll probably get what you deserve. The customer IS always right, except when they're wrong, and they sometimes can be. Good service is good service, but dickheads are dickheads.

Well in my experience they are top notch fast. Though can't claim for other users.

heres one...you can not w/ one caommand export all channels to wave. ie. if you use STYLUS RMX and place each part on a seperate midi channel, you have to export each, one at a time to wave.

You can. Assuming STYLUS has multiple outputs, enable that in the wrapper. Give STYLUS a fx channel, ie 1, then in STYLUS, send kick to output 1, snare to output 2, etc. Check on the FL mixer, each sound should have it's own mixer channel. When you export to wav, make sure the 'split mixer tracks' is ticked before you export to wav. If all's been done correctly, you'll have a seperate wav for each sound/mixer channel.
RIP Black Tom and Beckett. They weren't just cats, they were MY cats, the best cats ever.
