I hate cubase with a passion. I have never tried sonar.

I hate cubase's automation, but like its audio (wave) editing capailities and workflow.

I use tracktion two now for reliability and a better automation system that doesn't fail, but it's not very easy to automate a lot of things.

Acid 6.0. I had Acid Pro 2.0 and loved it. Surprised at how much hadn't changed with 6.0 -- aside from the fact that it now crashed my machine with a passion. I'll stick with Sonar (which I love).

Ok, passion and hate were too strong.

I dislike cubase with a mild emotional discomfort.

I get frustrated quickly (i.e. hate) hosts that feel like they used to be a drum machine and slowly had features tacked on, like that bubblegum ball the fat kid at school hid under his desk, slowly adding on more and more vile smelling sugar-rubber until it fell off and rolled in front of the class, much to his embarassment.

Yeah, you know what I'm talking about.

Well, good luck to them. For me, interface is an IMPoRTANT thing. Yes, i want it to look like candy. I like the looks as well as the features. Cos, thats what i'll be looking at 90% of the time. And i dont like to throw up when i'm making music.

Plus, Sonar does everything Orion does, and LOOKS much more cooler, so i can look at it without having to throw up. Same goes for Energy-XT (which even looks better).
