Every single time I try to buy something online with shareit they go into this VERIFIED BY VISA crap and my wife not only refuses to have us sign up for it (it's her account), but even if I try the purchase fails!!!!!! I have NEVER been able to buy ANYTHING with shareit. According to our bank, we should be able to bypass it but it has never been the case.
I do, however, use paypal and have never had one problem with that. I am verified 50 ways to sunday and am even a merchant myself! I have bought many synths using paypal with no troubles at all.
My question: can I purchase Rhino2 via paypal - I really want to buy it but already know that the shareit transaction will fail miserably!

You might want to just send Big Tick an email about this (to keep it private). In addition to that, I have sometimes helped out someone with the same problem. However, for that to work you'll need a) permission of Big Tick (to prevent problems later on), and b) someone in your own country.
What we did: I paid at shareit, the new owner paid me with paypal, and I sent him all the shareit info. If you'd do it that way, you'll need someone in the US, otherwise you pay the Euro price + VAT.

I've used ShareIt just fine, and the verified by VISA as well. I've had a lot of issues using PayPal, and have just descovered now I've done two or three transactions without an account, PayPal want me to create an account from now on.

Just checked that website, but if you check those links on that page, they are all (at least the first four) the same (fake?) pages with advertisement for an other payment service. I would wonder if all those stories on those pages are true? Just my 2 virtual cents.
