i'd like to have a bunch of these. if anyone does know where i might find some or a bunch. i would be quite pleased and appreciative.

Try to play back some 140bpm beats at 22kHz instead of 44kHz, and the tempo has come down! You can put a pitch shifter on it as an effect for compensation.

I just posted a link to a .zip file that contains 3 drum tracks of 16 bars each taken from a ballad recorded around 88 bpm. The drummer played the session using hot rods instead of sticks (they produce a softer impact than a stick but harder than a brush - perfect for downtempo). If you've got an audio editor and a little skill, you can slice and dice them up to make a variety of useful downtempo loops.
