How this fucktard keeps getting work is one of life's biggest mysteries.
He says he is a germaphobe and can not stand being touched in any way by other people, but people I know who have met him say he is just an asshole.
I want to duct tape him to a chair in his house and then make him watch as I go around rubbing my ass and balls on all his stuff.
Then I am going to take a piss on his carpet and then tip him in his chair over into it.
Then I am going to point and laugh at him as he tries to sqirm out of the wet spot.
Then when I leave I am going to take a shit in the front seat of his car.
I hate that fuckin dickhead

That's hilariously accurate

androidlove wrote:the impression i get just reading comments about fl studio is that it's building block oriented. i also gather it has a problem with chords. in fl studio can you just play what you want as long as you want and have a midi recording just as played? can you record and edit automation over the whole song? can you record audio? i just get the impression that it's as stated; a glorified drum machine
- problem with chords? no (not at all. Dont know why that would arise)
- can you just play what you want as long as you want and have a midi recording just as played? yes.
- can you record and edit automation over the whole song? Yes, infact the automation in it is hot shit.
- can you record audio? kind of, meaning yes but it's definitely not a strong point. I dont know why someone would want to record into their sequencer anyway. Even when I did record shit (mostly drum tracks) I did It in an audio editor

The glorified drum machine thought is silly. version one was infact just a drum machine, but the mdern FL sequencer is a very capable virtual studio that is imo unmatched for drum programming.

uhm, because I don't want to open another app.

Recording in FL studio is actually pretty ok. You can record from any input of your soundcard, simultaneously if needed, in 32b float if you want to, monitor what you're recording with fx and record only the dry signal etc...
It's just a matter of using the modularity of the mixer properly.

Are you sure you're not making a confusion with the fact that the handling of audio tracks in FL is pretty different from any other app? (and quite cumbersome if you have a lot of audio tracks)
I dont know why someone would want to record into their sequencer anyway

Imagine you are adding guitar parts to a tune. Wouldn't you like to be able to monitor the other instruments while recording the part?

Btw, still using that jd800/990?
Heh, I wish. Almost nothing really outputs such strange noises as jd800 did. I burnt my ears first time ever with its filter/resonance.. such a strange distortion also.
Soft Knees - Live 12, Diva, Omnisphere, Slate Digital VSX, TDR, Kush Audio, U-He, PA, Valhalla, Fuse, Pulsar AUDIO, NI, OekSound etc. on Win11Pro R7950X & RME AiO Pro

I got one lying behind the sofa if you're interested... ;) I never use it anylonger. But yeah, I used to love it. But now it's, for me, obsolete.

I guess you dont know what "fun" means.
Yeah, actually he does. Considering him and I joined around the same time, I can say with authority that we've both seen at least 30 identical predecessors of these 'fun' time-wasting POS threads that do nothing but stand as an excuse for most not to get better aquainted with the software they diss here and actually do something productive..

Jeez. I just realized I'm not being fun. Not very 'Dude' of me..

Interesting. So it's really the fanboy users you hate, not the actual program?

I'm slightly the same way with regard to FL, although nothing personal about specific people - just a general sense.
I'm the same about users of Cubarse, Logic, Sonar and (especially) Pro Tools who claim that anything that doesn't cost £££ is basically a toy and is okay if you want to bang a couple of premade trance loops together but you can basically forget about doing any real music.

And people who claim that it's actually impossible (not just slightly inconvenient) for them to make music on a given sequencer because of an incredibly minor workflow issue. ("I can't find a sequencer that lets me do this with a right click instead of a left click! I give up, I don't know how anyone can make any music ever.") Beethoven was deaf and had to write everything by hand for f**k's sake.

And I'm surprised that so few people are annoyed with EXT fanboys like meself who give the impression that there's a bot in the Hosts forum responding to every thread with "try EnergyXT. It can do whatever it is you were asking and costs almost nothing!"
It's a rave, Lewis!
