Why? With the windows taskbar it's just one click away. That's barely any more work than if it was integrated.

well it's not the work that's involved..It's more like, well why wouldn't I want to record into my sequencer? My two main programs,
Cubase and Live do very well at recording audio.
As loomchild expressed earlier:

Imagine you are adding guitar parts to a tune. Wouldn't you like to be able to monitor the other instruments while recording the part?
