After a long, long, long night of searching I finally found the entire JP8080... in soundfont (sf2) format.
I don't know jack about soundfonts. Should they have loop points? They all seem to be one-shot. I loaded a few up in sfz and they sounded REALLY FREAKING GOOD (i had no idea JP8080 strings were so lush), but would not loop when I held down a key on my midi controller.
Is there a way to open soundfonts to maybe see if there are loop points?

Indeed, the supersaw is gods gift, and not just to superstar tarncers.
But I must confess, I just sold my JP8080 on Ebay
So where did you say that soundfont was again?

ebay. and yes, they work and sound amazing. i just need to figure out the loop thing. if you do purchase them ($6 isn't that bad lol) and find out there's no loop points, don't blame me! i did email the guy selling this and he states there are loop points. either i'm new at sf2 and can't figure it out, or he's filling me full of poo. either way i have them now and if i have to loop them i will.

Yes. A dev team like d16 or AR should make a fat JP8080 VSTi

Seems as if he's been using some auto-recorder and just left it at that. Setting proper loop points usually takes both some experience and a lot of work.

For $6 it could be a good start for those who would like to make looped soundfonts. ;-P
