Just an mp3 this time. The MIDI is not supposed to be used for commercial purposes, but since I don't plan to sell this sample set, I am taking that to not apply. (Don't sell this mp3.) Here's the Maple Leaf Rag, composed and performed by Scott Joplin, player roll scanned by Terry Smythe.
Please note that any irregularities in the performance are not Mr. Joplin's fault; they are due to a random variation of maybe 5 - 10 ms in the amount of silence at sample start. I haven't lined them up yet. Nevertheless, this performance contains the complete unpedaled forte layer, with key release noises and pedaling noises. Release ring is simulated with Emulator X's built-in reverbs, modulated to only sound on release, since I haven't isolated the actual pitched release samples yet. This is more or less how "live mode" will sound; "render mode" will be somewhat more realistic and will probably be unusable for fast playing on a modern PC.
Opinions?

Awesome
Love all the rumbling and scratchy noise.. Shame I don't have an Emu-X. Wonder how much work this would be to port to Kontakt...
